Less wind and warmer temperatures to end the week with highs both Friday and Saturday in the low 70s. The coolest day this week will come Thursday with high temperatures in the 60s. The cold air is delayed behind the front as well. Wednesday looks to be the windiest day with north northwest winds sustained at 15 to 20 mph and gusting to 35 mph at times. Much cooler temperatures and breezy conditions behind the front as highs on Wednesday push for the low 70s. The better chance will be to the southeast where a little more instability will be present as the front moves through. There is a slight chance of a shower or possibly a rumble of thunder as the front moves through. Ahead of it breezy to almost windy conditions Tuesday with south winds at 15 to 30 mph. The cold front will move through Tuesday evening. But with sunny skies and warm south winds, those temperatures won’t stay cool for long. Grab a light coat as it will be a chilly start to your Monday with lows in the upper 30s north and low 40s south. You may want to have a jacket handy if you plan on staying out late as temperatures will fall rapidly into the 50s under clear skies and with calm winds.
